Pie Town's shows and productions have received many awards, honorable mentions and rave reviews. A Baby Story received an Emmy nomination in 2001 (winning the award in 2003 with co-producers). Also in 2001 the documentary Swimming Upstream: A Year in the Life of Karen & Jenny received an honorable mention in the 2001 Chris Awards. In 2003, Cooking School Stories and Designers' Challenge both won Telly awards.

The shows we produce aren't the only thing that Pie Town Productions is known for. In 2006 Pie Town Productions was honored with the Premiere Award from Power Up to celebrate the company's commitment to diversity and integrity in their programming. In the fall of 2007, partners Tara Sandler and Jennifer Davidson were honored by California State Senator Jack Scott as two of the most accomplished Women In Business.
